Our Bodies Are Ready: The 2018 Dodge SRT Demon Could Have North of 800 HP

March 29th, 2017 by

There was a time where we thought that the 707 ponies of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat was as powerful as a muscle car could get. We were so cute back then—how the times have changed. Now, it’s looking more likely that the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon, which is soon to be unveiled in the Big Apple, will eclipse 800 horses.

That would be pretty epic, and seems to fall in line with the deluge of teaser videos the double-dash has been putting out over the last several months. In a recent video entitled Performance Pages, we get the closest look at the possible power output yet during a glimpse of the Dyno page. Pause the video, and look at the graph. While peak horsepower reads around 750, the blacked-out portion of the graph goes up to 850.

Is an 800+ horsepower model about to join the new Dodge lineup? If so, color us fifty shades of ready. If you want to learn more about the performance models we offer at our Upper Sandusky, OH dealership, contact us at your convenience.
